Just purchased a T1i...awaiting its arrival in the mail! It is a used camera that is coming with a 32GB Class 4 SDHC card. However, I'm beginning to find out that in order to shoot video I need at least a Class 6 card. I've never used a camera with SDHC capabilities but as I am to understand it there is a class 2, 4, 6, and 10, correct? Which should I choose...a 6 or a 10? I shoot in RAW mainly wildlife and am very interested in using the video. Probably a class 10, huh?

Any recommendations on a good Class 10 16gb/32gb card for the price?

I highly recommend the Sandisk Extreme SDHC Class 10 which is what I use to record video with my T1i. I purchase the 8GB memory for only $50. They also have a 16GB if you need more memory. I believe the rule is you want to use the highest class available for dslr video so there are less frames dropped when recording.

Thank you very much...I didn't realize that a slower card would possibly drop frames. Looks like I'm going with what you recommended, in either 8 or 16gb size. Thanks very much...I almost went with a cheaper option!

HD Video's less demanding than high frame rate still RAW images with high res. sensors. Class 6 is ample for the T1, which only does 1080p at 20 fps, and 720p at 30. For that matter, it's fine for 1080p on my 5D2 or SX1 for video.
