What fits a Canon 40D?
I know there's been innumerable questions about these things before, and they've
all been answered satisfactorily within the context of the querying person.
However, there's something else yet to be answered:
Which finders reproduce the viewfinder image without reversing it?
There are finders which project an image not upside-down, and there are finders
which project an image not mirrored right-to-left, but there seems to be very
little information about these viewfinders as they apply to a complete image
as if one were viewing through a viewfinder without such an angle finder
attached to the camera.
RIGHT HERE
is an interesting and informative article about these things,
but the references to 'proper' viewing orientation through the eyepiece
are decidedly lacking in most circumstances.
I'd rather not spend US $300 on an angle finder, as I know there are others,
old and new, which will fit my camera. But if I HAVE TO spend $300 on one,
which is going to relay the image to me as if I were looking directly into the
camera's own viewfinder?
