Nice shots. You're going to want to get out and about some -- try DeKorte or Saw Mill Creek Marsh one of these days!

the GBH in the pond is staring to have a certain look on his face...

"oh, you again?!?!?!..."

Jamaica Bay is right across from JFK, so keep that in mind as you decide drive times. DeKorte and/or Saw Mill Creek should be easy for you. So too the Celery Farm or Garrett Mountain. There are a lot of choices within a fairly short drive. For a day trip there's even more (Brigantine for the Forsythe NWR, Great Swamp, Stokes State Forest etc.).

thank you very much for the advice... sadly, i can't go on any trips for a while... family vacation in mid august, NY fashion week in september, Milan/Paris fashion week in sept/october... so work is catching up with me... fast...

but as for those places you've mentioned... are they pretty dry or do i have to get those knee high mucking boots?

do you have to be in water via boat/canoe?

i'm googling as we speak but just some advice from someone who's been there would be great!

regards,

Albert
