G11-Can not set Review to "Hold"

HELP!

Just bought a G11. It's my first Canon P&S in years.

In Av, Tv, and M shooting modes I am unable to choose any options for review or set the focus point. These menu options, as well as some others which I'm not too concerned with yet, appear greyed out with review being locked to the "off" setting and Focus point being locked to "center."

After reviewing the user manual, I can't figure this out and it's driving me nuts.

Please offer any insight you may have. I can't imagine Canon locking these basic functions out on specific shooting modes.

Nevermind... Some options become unavailable when the camera is in continuous shooting/focus modes.

User error... go figure!

I fell for the same thing when I first got my G11.. It took me a few minutes to work it out..

yep happened to me too. some features cant be used in certain settings.
