I am taking a Night time photography workshop right now and our assignment last night was to shoot car trails. Here is what I came up with:


This one is pretty much right out of the camera 13sec f9 100iso Tokina 11-17 @12mm

This is a HDR (3 exposures 2 stops apart) version of a similar shot

This is 10 sec at f10 with a 24-70 @ 24mm. Original felt unbalanced so I mirrored the bus trails in photoshop.

8sec f5.6 24-70 @48mm - I tried to do sort of a cross process look using HSL panel in Lightroom

Yep, 2nd shot is the best...and the only one I like.
