Stick with a major brand and you'll be fine.

yep yep...here, go to newegg here and look for the capacity you want... then go with the highest customer rating... and do your homework and google for reviews and whatnot... (external link)

They're all cheap, nowadays.

You can get a 16GB thumb drive from Microcenter for around $20

SSD + Enclosure :)

Nah, but if you only need a flash drive - buy any known brand.

Sony, Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston to name 4 of them :)

Or buy an external HDD? I have 1,5TB of space with me in Poland :D (added another TB just as a precaution)

Buy an SD to USB thumb drive adaptor on ebay for 99c and use any of your SD cards in it. Much more flexible and future-proof than thumb drives with embedded flash memory.

Yup, I've been using an 8GB Microcenter branded usb drive for three years now and it hasn't failed me yet. I bought it back then for $40

I remember driving with my buddy across town to get some 128MB USB 1.1 drives that were on sale for only $45!! Wow, that's like 90 floppies on my keychain!

This was only like 5 years ago.

Your best bet is to either go with a 8gb, or 16gb flash drive as you will usually want to tote several albums with you at all times.
