It's pretty rare Newegg has very many great deals anymore. They mostly do a lot of price matching of common items available online these days. I've been a customer of theirs for over 10 years but in the past couple years I've noticed their prices aren't really all that much to write home about anymore. It's usually their shipping fees that kills the deal for me since many other e-tailers offer for the same price with free shipping. The one thing that has remained consistent in the way they conduct business is they do ship out quickly, so if I want something fast and their price is in line with another e-tailers then I'll buy it from newegg.

I hate buying expensive items from newegg. Restocking fee hurts if you are not satisfied with the item. I'm still buying mainly at B&H.

Considering some of what I've read here and on other consumer electronics forums it's understandable. These companies are in business to sell merchandise and not to provide free trials. They will exchange merchandise with no hassle if you get a defective item.

B&H, digitalrev and I'm sure there are others have a two week "free trial". Why not take advantage and make sure you are completely satisfied. Plus newegg isn't normally cheaper when it comes to photo gear.

Does digitalrev ship from China? If so, return shipping would be a pain in the butt :/

If you're not completely sure you want what you're buying use a B&M store.

Don't need to, B&H has been great so far. B&M leave a lot to be desired as far as on hand stock and prices.
