Unexpected Favavorite Shot of the Evening

This week, I was privileged to be able to take pictures through out the day during a concert that Chuck Wicks was performing at. During the sound check, I went out into the lobby of the venue and took a quick shot of the band through the door and this is what I got. It's one of my favorites! It reminds me a bit of Rush's Moving Pictures album cover.

And of course, here's one of Chuck Wicks and part of his band. He was such a great guy and easy to work with.

These were all taken with my new 7D at ISO 3200. I definitely need more time to learn this camera and improve my technique, but I'm totally glad that I had this opportunity. It's my first time photographing a professional musician.

My friend is a bassist and the has the base clef on his arm


I am with you i like number one. wow 7d as 3200 I am going to have to get mine up there :lol: I am scared of 1600
