Did you purchase it through the Canon Loyalty Program? You could always call them and tell them you can't log in..

I ended up calling them, not because I couldn't log in, but because my last name didn't match my order number. It turns out the rep entered my last name incorrectly. Hopefully it gets resolved and my camera ships out tomorrow, otherwise I'll be speaking to a Canon rep soon.

I'm sure it will ship out.

when I placed my order, the rep took my email address down incorrectly, so I never received a shipping confirmation, or the email to log into their website to check order status. I had to call them back, they changed my email address, but were unable to resend the payment confirmation, so I had to print off the order from their website.

I would honestly call. Any descrepancy with the the information on file and credit card being used will put a hold on your order and throw up a red flag. I know this because my Step Dad had me use his credit card to place my order, and even after telling the rep to use my Step Dad's Name and not mine... he still used my name. A couple days later a Canon rep was calling my Step Dad's house to confirm that it was ok to process the order because the Name didn't match the Credit Card companies information.

..maybe they're secretly doing this on purpose. they messed up phillip's name as well, and they messed up my last name despite the fact that i spelled it out and repeated it with the phonetic alphabet (ie: alpha-bravo-charlie..etc). my credit card company called the next day to verify it and when it checked out, it went ahead just fine. either way, it doesn't sound like a big deal at all. the camera was still delivered two or three days later to me.

Yea, I'm not saying it would cause anything other than holding up the order. But they probably won't ship anything until you confirm the information... so it's just nice to get the camera sooner than later by being proactive about it.

I sincerely doubt they're purposely making mistakes.

I am torn between the 7D refurb and buying a 7D new with the 70-200mm F/2.8 IS II. I am looking to buy the 70-200 anyway. The difference between the refurb 7d and 70-200 as opposed to the new items is only $222.11. The double discounts is what is helping get the combo price so low.

Since you are going for the e70-200 f/2.8 II I would spend the $222.

My problem is I already ordered the refurb 7D and Canon cannot guarantee it will be canceled. So I might just be stuck.
