I think I have the AF system figured out and now I'm working on other settings. I have disabled highlight tone priority, all noise reduction and auto lighting optimizer. I enabled the peripheral illumination correction. I shoot raw and use DPP. Would like any advice on these settings.

if you're shooting RAW then I'd adjust the peripheral correction to suit your style. If you like vignette, turn it off. If you don't like vignette, keep it on. With it on DPP sees the flag and corrects your RAWs in post, so you don't change anything in camera but it just automates it for you.

HTP I never use because it forces 200 and adds some noise.
ALO I use with JPEGs at times, but I use LR so it doesn't do anything to my RAWs when I process...
