PS.By the way,my wife is somewhat Cebuano. You see,her mom is from there and although her dad wasn't from Cebu,he grew up there. In my wife's case, she grew up here in Manila but she had a cebuano up-bringing.In fact, she speaks a lot better Cebuano than Tagalog.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUVfGqRBqnA (external link) <-- a demo of their high end harness. They claim they have a wire running through the strap for added security for heavy rigs. The rest, from what I see is similar to blackrapid's version. Sorry I don't have 1st hand experience with either of the straps

I'm not the op, but here's a question anyway:
Will the adapter, which is attached to the camera, losen or unscrew after some time of heavy use? Any difference noticed between screwing it into a battery grip and the camera directly?

I am looking forward to shooting a triathlon in 4 weeks, which will be like 8 hours of shooting and running around a lot from location to location. I am mostly looking for a secure (!) sling type strap.

How does it compare to that of Black Rapid and Luma Loop? Also, would it be safe to connect it with a DLSR camera with battery grip?
Thanks.

No, the D ring adapter doesn't unscrew itself. Not on the sun sniper, not on the black rapid.

The problem with over-the-chest straps is that your weight is always on one shoulder unless you're willing to take it off awhile at a time to shoot without a strap attached.

You gotta ask more specific questions besides "how does it compare" (: I wouldn't know what you're looking out for. I used it with a 1D2n, so it's definitely safe.

So zexun, does this replace the cotton carrier system that you've been using for the past few months? I know you purchased and liked that system but this system looks pretty clever too.

I sold away the cotton carrier only because of two reasons: I needed the money for a lens upgrate, and a vest worn for hours in Singapore gets very hot.

While the Sun Sniper seems great to me, there are 2 points which I don't like. The padding isn't a single strip of cushion, but two strips with an adjustment buckle between. This makes it slightly less comfortable for me because I have rather thick shoulders. However, my friend who has thin width shoulders loved it. The other thing is that there isn't a stopper buckle thing at the bottom for the camera to pull back the strap if it ever goes backwards / forwards on your shoulder. Not important at all unless you use heavy lenses.

I love the fact that they have a suspension stretchy system right under the padding, very helpful for my 1D2n + 70-200 2.8IS.

It's just a review strap(s - I have two, one with and one without wire inside). I didn't buy it. What I do use is a Domke 1.5" gripper strap and an Optech Pro Loop strap. And a black rapid RS4 as well if I know I'll be running around a lot.

Got to compare a new blk rapid and a sun sniper today at the local calumet. They just got an order in of new straps. The blackrapids sell fast! I bought mine there a few weeks ago. The sun sniper Keeps claiming this steel wire that keeps the strap from breaking. It also costs about the price of a rs5. Could tell much other than that from the box. Yes a box. The rapid comes in a mesh bag!

The new fastener3 on the blkrapid looks nice

I am not too sure if there is anyone selling the Sun Sniper camera strap in our country.I think that you have to order it directly from them.
