Hi all

I have recently purchased a Canon 50D, with a lens kit consisting of 18-55 & 55-250 IS lenses.

Anyway, I have kinda blown my budget in the short term and was wondering if there are any acc that may be handy for dabbling in some sort of macro shooting?

Given the "kit" lenses i do have, is there anything that could help me pass my time until my bank (that being my partner :p) allows me to spend some more cash on lenses more suitable to that type of photography?

Cheers

A Raynox DCR-250 can be a very nice and easy solution for macro. It goes up to 2:1 on your 55-250 with more than decent quality.

Get a set of extension tubes. You'll find that macro becomes easy, and they are very inexpensive. As they contain no glass, there's no loss of image quality. DOF becomes shallow, but you'll get amazing photos!
