Composition wise, I would crop the right side to the edge of the peak above the flowers. Speaking of the flowers..., I can't decide if the subject is the flower or the mountains, personally I think the mountains are more interesting. It looks like you may have actually placed the flowers in that spot, but it doesn't work for me. Shoot this scene at a different time of day if you can, deeper shadows may help give depth and lessen the haze. Keep doin' it, good start. The haze is easily fixed in PS, that isn't an issue anymore with digital photography and great software lol.

Because the background looms so largely in the photograph and is so dramatic, it is constantly tugging at my eyes, but it's out of focus. The foreground is in focus and the flowers are also interesting, so it's pulling at my eyes as well. While I see what you were going for, I think you need to have these flowers against a more diffuse background or bring the background into focus and perhaps have the foreground take up less of my attention.
