IOWA, camera stores?

I'm currently in Iowa for work and i'm gonna be here for a couple of weeks and a co-worker is interested in buying a new lens, or at least trying it. I'm in Fort Dodge, Iowa so the if the stores are in Central or Southern Iowa better. Does anybody from Iowa know of any good camera stores around here. Thanks

Best known Iowa camera stores are probably Porter's, mail order and with brick-and-mortar in Cedar Rapids and Cedar Falls. They're reliable, but not the best prices.

Thanks, I'll look into them. My friend mainly wants to see the equipment in person.

If you are in Cedar Rapids and at Porters... Just up the street in Lindale Mall is Photo Pro, a friendly, family owned camera store with a pretty good inventory to see.

If you get to Des Moines, try Christian Photo. They carry quite a bit of stuff and have decent prices.

I live in the Cedar Rapids area and prefer PhotoPro over Porters, but Porters is fine in their own right. This is in the eastern part of the state, though.
