My friend Shane and I take nightscapes together often. I captured this of him recently.
I call this unconventional because it is a reflection of him in a local city park's snack-shack window. He is lit by me holding and aiming a flash. Then, popping it several times to burn in his presence. You can see the light that bounced off him through the window and onto the interior ceiling of the building in the photo. The background is a result of a long exposure time. I used a 5Dc and a 24-105 on a tripod with remote release cable.
It has been a while since I have posted and I just thought it might be a good thread to get some creative sparks flying around in our heads, so....
