If those specs are real, then that would be a very tempting option. Sony just released some pretty nice cheaper primes last month, too.

Edit: EVF?

Sad that the most innovative maker of SLR's seems to be Sony at the moment.

I don't see anything innovative in that list...

It sounds like a good price though!

It should keep the other makers on their toes.

it'd be interesting if it's priced around $1000. it'd muck up the water A LOT!

I think that EVF will be interesting to see. Lighting fast AF, but if there is lag in the EVF, then what is the point.

That is one sexy set of specs; a framerate that might even be too fast for some uses (let's hope you can limit it to 3 or 5 fps, or short machinegun bursts :D
EVF with a decent resolution and framerate might actually make it preferable to an OVF, although it'd have to be damn good in low light to make that happen.

Not for an action camera. An EVF is probably the worst decision they could make, with current technology. They gave it all the tools to be a killer action camera, and then crippled it with lag.

I'd rather have longer shutter lag and no viewing lag than viewing lag and shorter shutter lag.

ISO100-25600, ISO6400′s noise just like a900′s ISO400

This just sounds absurd.

A crop sensor with 4 stops better sensativity than a sensor 2.5 times larger than it. I'm not sure theres even enough efficiency at 100% to go that far

Looking the sample images from a900 and nex 5, i'd say it is plausible though. difficult, but still can be done imo.
