Finally collected the 100-400L - just 10 hours before the flight to South Africa!!

Ducks are a tough find where I am - but hopefully this is not insulting the lens:).

The first is the full shot at 400/6.3 and the second is a 100% crop.

Had to use Picasa as the laptop is packed and this desktop does not have anything except Picasa....

The lens is sooooo sharp!!

Here is a pic of baboon, no sharpening, just resized.

Shot at 400mm at f/5.6, handheld.
