Lighting looks good. Would have liked too see more DoF on the shoes.

While cool, to me, the narrow DOF is distracting overall from the product itself. None of the shots have the entire pair completely tack sharp, so to me it's kind of underwhelming. Is that blue as searingly bright in person, too?

i would like to see the whole shoe in focus. also maybe use a diffuser to get some of those harsher shadows cleaned up. other than that, they look great to me.

Narrow DOF aside, I think I'd like to see these shoes better laying on the grass directly w/o the box and blue bag. And get a modifier for that flash, those shadows are terribly harsh and leave the subject flat :)

I agree with the narrow DoF. To me it doesn't scream product shoot. Then again maybe I would think differently if I saw one of those photos in a magazine


Photography is like a drug and I think I need an intervention.
