Downloaded Photoshop 6.0 beta and decided to try a HDR of a shot in Watkins Glenn I took in the fall. FIrst time to try this so be gentle. This was also a ND10 stop shot. I took about 6 pictures and let it do it thing. Moved some sliders and decided this was good.

Epic Chicago Sunset...

Its days like these that fuel my drive to capture the beauty that mother nature possesses. Magical sunsets like this dont happen everyday here in Chicago, that's for sure. Over the past couple of days the storm cell over Lake Michigan has been producing some dramatic skies and I have definitely been enjoying watching the display. Early on in the day I had a feeling that sunset was going to be decent, but I never expected it would turn out like this!!

MICHIGAN AVE...

Armed with the new Canon 1DX and a Canon 45mm Tilt-Shift 2.8, I hit the streets this morning to run some tests with Canon's new flagship camera. It was a quiet morning and the streets were empty which is why I really love shooting in the early morning hours. Fall is definitely here but the temperature was perfect and the light clouds in the sky made for an amazing soft orange light just after sunrise.
