A portrait session in the grass by Lake Thun close to Interlaken, Switzerland. The high mountains in Switzerland make it challenging to catch the sunset, disappearing behind them when you need it, so this session was made with an artificial setting sun in the form of a full CTO gelled flash. Please let me know what you think, does it work?

Model: Matilda Tehler
Location: Lake Thun, Switzerland

Camera: Canon 1Ds Mark II
Lens: EF 85/1.2L II USM
Light: 580EX II in umbrella as main light, 430EX bare and gelled full CTO as kicker light, Elinchrom Skyports

I like the composition, but are they not a tad bit hot?

The simulated sun strobe is full CTO gelled so it got pretty hot for sure ;) Thanks for your comment!
