This is oddly specific

I have a project I have completed where I muted all the audio from the clips, and added music. The project plays fine in iMovie, but when I render it, the audio from three of the clips returns.

Any ideas why?

Told you it was specific.

FWIW -- If I render the video using "export movie", its a fail every time. If I render straight to quicktime as a .mov file, its fine. If I render as an .mp4 file via quicktime, its a fail again.

No explanation. I think its just a glitch. I have read that some of the changes to the audio scrubbing feature suck in '09. If this is an example -- I agree.

All i do is when I go to specific clip and click audio adjustment. I put the Volume slider all the way down to zero. And check the ducking box and slide it up to 100%. I have no problem at all during exporting..
