Cute expression, good eye contact. A little too razor's edge sharp for my taste for a portrait. I wonder if a different colored background might have been more complimentary. It's slightly warmer than the child's skin and therefore conveys a cool cast to it.

I would get the babe on the ground instead of in that chair? The crop os off.having the babe on the ground will give you a better angle, having yourself on the ground as well..snd beiing a little girl, I would go for the fru fru dress:D Adds softness to the babe itself.

The lighting seems fine, but the hue feels cold.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Babies benefit from high key lighting. I would increase the exposure and get rid of the brown background and go with something brighter.

I agree the brown background and rocking chair don't seem to match the aesthetic of what the baby is wearing.

Excellent. The second version is much more lively than the first.

In the first, I like the expression and the light isn't too bad, maybe a little harsh.
It may be over-sharpened.
The background interferes with this a lot.
It needs to dissappear into a foggy haze.
It's not a bad color, just too close. It's ok for the chair to sit on a floor and let the BG go away.
