Fourth time assisting!

This shot was taken inside the Ohio Statehouse. I once photographed for a catering event there, and dreamt of getting this particular shot of a bride & groom. So you could imagine my reaction when the main photographer told me this was one of the spots we were going to photograph at :)

Love the angle, the lighting and everything. Bride gives an air of boredom with her hands on her hips tho.

She was completely into the glamour poses - hence, her hand on her hip. I wanted to say something, but as a second shooter I just stayed in the background and did my thing. It was our first time working together. Luckily, I was able to work a lot of magic in photoshop. Have a look for yourself.

So I took the pose from this photo and...

worked it into the final photo!

Just contacting local photographers and networking with the right people I guess. I have a few more coming up in the next couple of weeks, and hopefully I'll be ready to shoot one solo.

That is a gorgeous backdrop. Nice that you were able to photoshop a better pose for the bride!

Here's another one I was messing around in post. It's a bit out there, so let me know if you guys think it works. Be honest. If it looks like crap, then I need to know. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn;t say it looks like crap, but I don't like it as much as I do your usual stuff. As far as the processing goes, I mean.
