Hey y'all. Just as the title says, I'm looking for a Bagpack that can fit a 14' laptop with a DSLR and 3~4 lenses for under $100. I'd also like it to be weather-proof (or at least rain proof).

I am absolutely new in the world of SLR/DSLR photography, hence my current gear which consists of a Canon T1i with the kit lens and a nifty fifty. However, since I plan to upgrade my gear in the future (new lens, new body, flash etc.), I figured I might as well get a bag that will allow me to expand.

After doing some research on the POTN forums and hunting deep within the jungles of Amazon, I've more or less narrowed my options to these 3 bags:

1. Kata DR-466i

2. Kata DR-467i

3. Lowepro Fastpack 250

http://www.amazon.com …0YIYQ30/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i (external link)

Can anyone help me with my final decision? Thanks in advance :D

Note: I'm also open to any other bagpack choices as long as it fits the criterias that I have outlined earlier. Thanks again.

I find YouTube video reviews great for figuring out if a bag will be good for the purposes I want it for.

Kata DR-466:

Kata DR-467:

Lowepro FastPack 250:

I love the FastPack myself, although the dedicated camera compartment at the bottom may not be enough space depending on the lenses you decide to buy later on (you may have to resort to putting some lenses in the upper compartment later on, or top-loading the bag instead of side-loading it.). It'll definitely fit what you have right now though, with some room to grow.

But video reviews are probably the best way to determine if a bags layout and design will work for your needs.

The Kata bags are great, I have the 465, but it won't fit the DLR and 3 lenses, maybe 2. And the upper compartment isn't small, you could probably put in a flash and personal items.

Thanks a lot folks. I ended up deciding to buy the fastpack 250 after watching a couple of youtube videos. It really does help. Greatly appreciated :)
