On another forum I use , they organise an occasional studio photoshoot which members can attend.

The morning is spent explaining how to use the lighting in the studio. First off they built the lighting up for a "cover shot". Then we were taken through a variety of stages of lighting the car so that the shoots taken could potentially be merged together in PS. We used a supplied Jaguar XJ in the morning. In the afternoon those attending had the opportunity to get their cars into the studio.

A selection of pictures follows all the car shots have had some minor tweaking in Lightroom.

1 - Aston Martin Vantage

I know some of them have been shot with high ISO - my mistake! All taken with a 5D (original!) with 24 - 105, apart from the last on which was on a 7D with a Sigma 10 -20.

As ever comments welcome

It's great that they took the time to allow you guys to shoot there. I like what you did with the Mustang.

I don't see a rolling flat there. Did they have one? There's an example of one in image #4 here (external link) that we used to put highlights in the side like you have in #4. While you can use the cove for that, it just gives more control when you can move the flat.
