Hi guys

Saturday saw me out at Sankt Stephan for Hunterfest 2010. A small show, with Hunters, Vampires plus guests. Great show, amazing scenery. Long day, 380km round trip bike ride with 5 hour break for the flying.

All pics with 7D and 100-400mm except the first pano of the view, that was 28-70mm. Exif intact.

Full gallery HERE (external link) 74 in total.

Enjoy, Chris

Great! The N-321 comes from where I live. The only "real" planes they have on Leeuwarden AFB (they have another Hunter).

Excellent set, no.2 is a superb shot of the Hunter (Its actually a T68 i believe, the F58's were single seaters) and also really like the Dutch T8 Hunter, which i remember very well from it's time in the UK.

Thanks. Yes, Ts and Fs, but as far as I know, the Mk numbers were used to denote the overseas country of sale, Starting with the Mk 50, and ending with Mk81. The Swiss had the Mk 58/68 according to the hunter site, altohugh my german is not that good :-)
When was the Dutch aircraft in UK ??

Thanks guys. I do like shooting at the old military airfields here in Switzerland, as most of them have some very nice scenery backdrops :-)

The Dutch Hunter was built as a F4 for the RAF and then later coverted to a T8 for the Royal Navy, It was retired from service in 1994 and then restored to flying condition again and was operated by the Old Flying Machine Company at Duxford for a while before moving on to another operator and then sold to the Netherlands in 2007.
While it was based at Duxford it starred in the Fatboy Slim video Bird Of Prey.
