Believe it or not, your 50mm f/1.4 will do indoor sports! Nothing huge, but you could literally shoot basketball and volleyball with that lens if you have courtside access. The other best bang for the buck indoor sports lens would be the 85 f/1.8. Another total workhorse for ambient light basketball / volleyball. Canon 5D2 > 35L-85L-135L
