I've not been here in awhile.

So there is not much confusion I am a "pro", by that I mean 100% of my income is derived from my photography. I shoot for a local magazine and have a brick and mortar studio. The "studio/portrait" portion of our business is a couple of years ago.

I've been fortunate to have the support of the magazine staff to help manage everything from sells, order taking, shooting assistance, marketing, payment processing, and order delivery.

Recently my assistant of 2.5 years took an offer she could not refuse...I MISS HER!

My number one goal is to refine my process as my role has been to shoot, edit, and place the orders on the "studio" side of the business. On the magazine side it has been to simply shoot while someone else handles all of my schedule (I've had 2 people doing this, one for editorial and one for "portrait")

With recent changes 98% of the responsibility above now reverts back to me, which is near impossible to do all of those things and shoot and edit.

What I'm mostly curious about is what "pro" software is out there to streamline the workflow for image display to clients, create work order, receipt, to-do list, and maybe even scheduling?

It would be great if there is someone who has some experience with one of the major softwares who can share what they like.

The book keeping is not something I need the software to handle, I simply want a process that manages the ability to get project the images, make selections for order, capture client specified edits, specific images and sizes needed to be ordered, and someway to track the order from start to acceptance by the client.

Thoughts ideas? Likes dislikes?

Thanks!

My work can be seen at;

Thanks!
