Gotta love Carribean for it's colors.
Please C&C. Hopefully, this one is a bit better, than my previous attempts.

This one I really like, but was it from a single RAW file? I ask because that palm sure was frozen solid over several exposures.

Post #4 much better than the first one. Too many false colors in the first.

The only thing I don't like about the second picture with the lounge is the obviously disturbed sand trailing behind the lounge. Kinda indicates an attempt to use a palm frond to brush out the tracks.

But I do like the colours and composition.

Actually, it was from 3 RAW files - -2, 0, +2. Handheld on high speed. I removed ghosting in Photomatix.

Actually, I've dragged the lounge away from the cluster, being on vacation and lazy, instead of lifting it. ;)
Disturbed sand was from me covering the tracks. Looking back I realize I should've carried it somewhere desolate and leave it for awhile to let the wind do it's job smoothing the sand around the lounge.

An idea would be to try visualizing in your mind the scene before you set it up. That way you could put the chair there by carrying it up from the beach, placing it into position and then walking back to the beach covering your tracks or any disturbed sand. The front of the lounge would block any disturbance of the sand and the waves would take care of the rest. ;-)a

A good try at a good composition and the HDR effect certainly makes the picture stand out.

While neither picture overly excites me, I like the processing on both. Nicely done.

Nights were cheap, but the women aren't cheap anymore in that densely tourist-infested part of the Carribean. ;)
