I got out in the yard today determined to get some decent closeups of insects of some sort. I'm using a Pentax Macro Takumar in 50mm on my 10D. Comments welcomed. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Nice shot, but what are the blue outlines?

I'm not really sure what causes that, but I've been told it's some sort of color shift inherrant to macro photography. They seem to occur mostly when I bring levels up in PS. Thanks for the comment. :D

Great shot, with very good DOF, the dark center takes away from the Bee, my suggestion on this kind of shot, might be to take a profile or side shot of the Bee. You get a lot more detail of the Bee that way. Great beginning.

Canon 5D:cool:   .

Thanks, This Bee didn't want to stay still very long, so I had to get what I could. Maybe next time. ;)
