Is there anybody here who shot a wedding at the Hemingway House in Key West, FL? It is a 4-5 hour drive so I don't plan to drop by anytime soon before the first wedding.
I am going to have two weddings there and I am just wondering whether there is anything interesting there? Nice background, etc.

4 or 5 hours from miami? I hope that's not true I've been wanting to go to the Dry Tortugas forever. Might go this year and camp out if the weather holds.

This is why I really dislike that everyone and their dog with a DSLR say they are a wedding photographer. Sorry but to me you are the lowest of species when it comes to photographers (IMO). You have 2 weddings to shoot, you won't spend the time to visit the sites to understand places to shoot around the location, so you go to a forum asking for cheap advice. You don't even Google the place yourself and then even better you ask about lighting!! No mention of time of day you are shooting etc... people like this drive me nuts, call yourselves professional etc... and won't even take the time to do it right.

Shame on you for charging any of these people any money at all.

No, just fed up with supposed "Professional Wedding Photographers" not doing the leg work that they should be doing if they are going to charge for their services.
