What bag/case do you carry your equipment in?

I travel with a small college football team. Some trips on bus. Some on planes.

Planning to carry a fair amount of equipment. Love something that can carry on the plane for those trips (rather than going in the cargo hold).

Looking to carry a 1D2n, 1D2, 100-400, 70-200, 24-70, 15mm, flash , monopod, stroboframe and accessories. Would love room for a small packable rainsuit.

Any suggestions?

Peli 1510 meets airline size requirements for carry on luggage but weight may be an issue depending on the airline. Theres a soft case ThinkTank equilavent but cant remember the model number.

I have the 1510 and pack it with 1Dmk3,40D,Canon 70-200, Sigma 300mm, Sigma 17-70, 430ex flash, and a few other bits and pieces. Its a tight squeeze but I only travel by car (around Ireland) so it suits my needs.

I should add that pretty much everything in my gear list is in that bag, except for the bees.

In my case I picked the Peli over the ThinkTank as, along with holding my gear, it doubles up as a seat when I'm shooting :)

I have a pelican 1620 that works well too...prefer using the Think Tank Security but If Im worried about weather or security I opt for the pelican...and your right its a great seat to get low laying flat, a great step to stand on to get over a crowd and a nice seat with the handle when upright.

Same here, but I'm Kevin, not Jeff. :D

I do have a Pelican, but have yet to switch gear over into it for anything. If there is a driving rain and I have to bring all my kit to my side, then I'll probably put it all in the Peli.
