bird i saw on campus

i dont know what type of bird this is but he looks cool, and was a good spot because he stayed there for about 5 minutes while i made sure i got a good shot of him and all the settings were right.

A green heron, very nice shot!


Try to get closer next time (they can be skittish, but the more south you go the less skittish in general) and see if you can get a shot with a better for ground.

thanks for the tips. yea i was worried it would fly away so i kept my distance. i think i was maybe about 10 or so feet away.
