24-105mm F4 fully extended

Anyone with this lens could you tell me what the maximum length is fully extended. Best I can find it's a little over 5 1/2 inches. Is this correct? I need to stay 6 inches or less.

Measuring the one that's mounted on my camera, it's 5 1/2" from body to the end of the lens @ 105mm. More if you want the mounting lugs that are inside of the body -- tell me if you need the actual off-camera overall length.
