I'm sure the Sigma 8-16 is nice too, but it's still a Sigma. I have much, MUCH more trust in Tokina's products than in Sigma's. Some of my lenses focus beyond infinity...!

The range does not seem all that but as someone stated... i'll prolly be shooting/treating it like a 11mm prime. I was undecided between the 11-16 and the 12-24. Went with the 11-16. Have not regretted my decision. This lens has brought a different dimension to my photography.
