I loved her views on 2nd shooters and how they should conduct themselves in that role was great yesterday. I also liked how she continues to harp on professionalism and BRANDING throughout her program. Fine example of how to build a business I think.

If the iPhone feed had been working better I probably would have gotten more out of it but the parts I was able to watch were very informative. For someone to go so far so fast in a business like wedding photography is really amazing. She definitely knows how to market herself and build a brand.

I caught part of it them my internet connection went down :(

started watching the repeat and THEIR end went down :( :(

Definitely going to purchase the show. I think she is a highly intelligent person and knows how to market. Lots of lessons to be learned even if you don't shoot weddings.

as with all highly successful businesses... branding is king! And when you're branding a porn star name and a pretty face... it really helps get the ball rolling.

Her actual photographer skill... ehhh, really nothing amazing. Many... many other photogs out there doing a better job taking pictures than her. However, Her or her marketing company's ability to sell that skill... outstanding.

I'm willing to bet that her and her marketing people could sell bacon to hard line devote muslims.

Following the twitterstream for #askjasmine is completely different from following it for #askzack - the average IQ of posters is down about 70 points.

Still very undecided if I'm buying this yet - the audio has been appalling - digital clipping (massive amounts) and huge level variations, along with the "Oh, I'm such a ditz! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" (as it buzzes the speakers from the clipping) presentation is annoying. I'm hoping it's going to improve once they actually start doing stuff rather than talking.

So yeah, I hope Bobby's right :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

I did find they seemed to fix a lot of it after the first break. I note that they've also changed the mic style from mini boom to lapel. I wasn't sure if it was digital clipping or the noise of her hair on the popguard. There were audio issues in the Zack Arias presentation that I think were solved by the time of the final cut.

Let's not forget that Zack is used to presenting his workshop.

I'm still learning stuff, and with my first shoot coming up as an official 2nd shooter, I know it's helping both me and the primary.

I haven't been watching the #askjasmine stream, but with more people participating, you will get a wider range of people watching and commenting.

It was digital clipping at first, then they (really stupidly) changed to a lapel mic that (surprise surprise) was giving jacket noise. I mean, c'mon, who didn't know that would happen?

I know Zack is used to presenting, but I don't really care about that - if you're doing a worldwide presentation, I'd expect some level of proficiency/professionalism.

(And before anyone says "well, it's free!", it's not if I decide to buy it, and I'm using the live watch to decide if I will. So it's in their best interests to not be making really simple errors that impact greatly on the product. I bought Zack's because it was great, so they got their (well-deserved) money.)

digital clipping will be hard to cover without dropping the whole channel out, but it wouldn't surprise me if they can pull something out off another mic.

I don't think i'll have qualms about buying this one, what I've seen so far, (which has only been the morning sessions) has been good. but then I've barely made it onto day two of Zack's show.

I hope it gets better for you, but at the end of the day it's a personal decision.

Are you talking about Jasmine's professionalism in speaking? If you think that's unprofessional, we'll have to disagree. I think she's great at that.

If you're talking about the tech side of things, I think that's all on Chase Jarvis, isn't it? Since Jas is just the speaker...

Anyways, plenty of solid info from Jasmine -- mic issues/twitterstream aside :)

Oh yeah, I'm clearly not blaming her for the multiple and basic tech issues - #CreativeLive aren't doing well at all.

But I'm not much taken by her presentation, no.

Jasmine isn't a professional speaker, she made that clear at the start.

I know Chase had a big hand in setting it up, but he's not running the live shows i don't think.

I think it's great that we get this chance to watch people who are really engaging and good at what they do, and best of all, we get to see all of it for free before we part with our money. I had big questions about the quality of the downloadable stuff before I bought the Zack Arias pre-order, but I figure, "hey, this stuff would be watchable on my iPhone, and it's cheaper than his 1-light DVDs"

Anyone know how many megabytes those presentations are?
