Good effort. Alternately apply USM of about 500%, radius/threshold around 2, in Photoshop, it can make it look a bit better.

Thanks; I have the .CR2 raw image and tried all the sharpening it could stand, and photoshop USM too. I'm not big on over-sharpened images, but will try your specifications.

What I really need is to figure out how to post a decent sized image, the 100K limit on this forum looks pretty lousy.

Anyway, instead of an over-pushed USM, I get a nice outline & coloring pad. The full pixil version isn't bad. Beats tossing such a good capture anyway.

Very cute. Retains the important keeper stuff and diminishes the rest. It has a real fairy princess feel to it. How did you do this?

What about lightening under the eyes and cropping in tighter? I bet this little girl would like a copy of your finished product. What little girl would not like to see herself as a cartoon princess? Now, can you do a rescue/super hero version for my boys? ;o)

Thanks. That's my little girly. She doesn't tire of it, although we do test her limits of how many pictures a girl can have of herself.

Edited my post with Photoshop method. Its just a filter, but makes the image very usable.

I lightened the eyes as you suggested. Thanks.

Not: She has several printed out and uses them for coloring. At 3 1/2 they mainly get scribbled on, but that's what laser printers are for.
