Honestly nothing in today's announcement really is exciting to me at all. Who else feel the same?

Plus the 70-300L and 8-15L look really interesting to me. New TC's are nice as well. The super teles are out of my price range =/ Will | WilliamLiuPhotography.com

I have been using 70-200/4IS + 1.4x TC for traveling and if the new one is equally good I'll get that one instead. More reach without TC (and I'll still have 70mm, instead of the 98mm I get with the TC), and I like that it's shorter. The 70-200 is too long/tall for my bags, not to mention how long it becomes with the TC mounted.

IMHO and... why does that 70-300mm L have 67mm filter???? 1st time ever? Canon is breaking their tradition What is the filter size on the 100L macro or either of the 70-200 f/4? -- Ken
