Apricane, love that last one, the blurred background colours complete the photo perfectly. Maybe go for a slightly tighter crop to get rid of that straggly bit of branch bottom left?

Cheers!

I agree with your suggestion; I moved the frame over a bit to the right to crop out the branch you mentioned. It does look better.

Monkey, I missed your cat shots earlier... nice, especially the top one of the profile. The other one makes it look super evil, lol.

Hello again everyone!
I've been away from this thread for awhile as it's a super busy season for me and I've been shooting indoors and that means a different lens to cover basketball, VB, swimming, archery, etc.
I need your help. I plan to spend $1000 or less to buy a lens for low light to compliment this one.
Looking at the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 non-IS used or the new Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 OS.
What would or do you all have - suggest to compliment this lens?

6D & 7D mark II - Canon 16-35 f/4 IS L, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L, Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II L, Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II, Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM, Canon 85 f/1.8, Canon 100 f/2.8 USM macro, Canon EF 1.4x III

I think going for a 2.8 zoom is a great idea.... take a peek in the sigma 50-150 OS lens sample thread to see if you like the samples and ask the participants (best through PMs) of typical issues. Look online like B&H or Amazon or Adorama at reviews and see typical issues.

I think IS and OS would be quite beneficial... especially longer than 100mm
