lapino Senior Member ![]() More info | May 15, 2013 00:16 | #5313 Well, I did a bit of the opposite. Got the 70-300L, loved it on safari on my 7D but since I do quite a bit of weddings I also got the 70-200/F2.8 IS II. Now I'm very much considering selling the 70-300L but somehow I am holding it off because I have a feeling I'll regret it, even though I also have the 70-200 (which can be extended with an extender). Anyone ever had the 70-300L and regretted selling it? http://www.flickr.com/photos/23660915@N07/

I'm very glad I did. I probably had this lens mounted on my 5D3 about half the time. So useful for getting tight compressed images and lots of versatility. The lightweight and compact lens was easy to store in my Domke bag and I never regretted taking it with me. Alex
