Beautiful shots! How do you like the 5DSR compared the 1DX?

Thanks.

The 5DSR complements the 1DX nicely. I originally got it for landscapes and to use as a backup but I find myself reaching for it more and more. I use the 1DX in low-light (ISO3200+) and where I need the high frame rate, and the 5DSR for everything else. It's actually a really good wildlife camera. The focussing system is as good as the 1DX and the 50MP allows you to frame loose and then crop in where you need more reach. (The red kite shot above is something crazy like a 14MP crop at ISO1600 and it's plenty sharp/detailed enough for my needs).

Thank you very much for the information. I'm starting to think about my next body (sometime in the next year). My primary body now is a 7D2. I had a 5D3 for a while, but it got very little use after I bought the 7D2. The items that intrigue me most at the present time are the 5DSR and the upcoming 5D4. The 1DX also has it's appeal for the times when I can fill at least 2/3 of it's frame. It's nice we have choices... :)

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.
