Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM

(I don't seem to 'get out much' :lol)

New images of Rocky at his hydration station:

One of several highlights of Rocky's days is to go outside in the late afternoon, face into the direct sunlight, and tank-up good.

He loves it!!

This hydration station, was built specifically for this purpose.

(When we adopted Rocky as a five-year-old, his teeth were in horrendous condition, and our veterinarian needed to extract many of them. For this reason, he has only one lower incisor tooth, and no upper canine teeth.)

No news as such.
But one of the significant retailers here in UK have finally put “unable to source new copies” on their listing over the last day or so.

I know it’s been on the EF ‘discontinued’ list that was released about 18 months back. But it’s always been back in stock within a week whenever it’s been sold - up until now.

So you’d assume something must be in the near future pipeline.

A baby bunny has recently appeared on our property, and ‘lives’ under a wooden ramp on our walkway.

It is approximately the size of a potato, and we have really taken a liking to the the bunny.

Because we fenced-off our garden so effectively this year, we bring lettuce and water, to the bunny.

How's the performance of R3 with your EF L lenses?

This lens is such a PITA to carry around with my other lenses (I injured my shoulder so it's really a drag) BUT

It is oh, so wonderful. I love this lens. I took it to the beach yesterday morning (on the Gulf Coast of Florida) and hauled it over lagoons, everywhere with a monopod (which I hardly used).

It always comes through. For the last couple of years I have been using it with my R5. All taken with the 2X Teleconverter.
