thanks for the touch back... if you decide to use either with your 7D i'd be interested in usefulness results.
But keep these 400 2.8 IS 2 images coming... nice to see what "top of the line" could be getting me :)

still trying to wrap my head around its hand-hold-ability-weight-thing.
This thread is not good for me.... somehow i thought i was done after my Elinchrom light purchase set for January! haha... seems if i charge a bit more for my intra-mural shooting services, this might be in hand by end of 2012....hhhmmmm

How is my color temp now? I proof in sRGB and embed a sRGB profile into the jpg. Looking at it on an uncalibrated LCD looks snow white.

400mm f/2.8 Mark 2 lens with 2x Extender (Mark 3), handheld. Not recommended as it is heavy (I just wanted to test).
