I've hardly used my 500mm II since buying it due to problems with my 7D2, it's back with Canon Europe for repairs for the second time now  . I really need to invest in a second camera.Thanks and sorry to hear that. I've read of a few dis-satisfied 7DII customers recently. I doubt it'll be remembered as one of Canon's best.

Apr 23, 2016 20:12 | #368 I've not longed owned the 500mm MK II, surprisingly my first Canon 500mm though I've owned 2 Nikon 500mm F4 VR's in my attempt to find what works for me. I'm loving the 500mm MK II, I'm learning it's limits and where it excels. Really I should be getting out more with it but maybe a trip would be a good thing.
