Yeah, no flooding any more. My son and I were there at around 830am and hung around till about 11am. We wanted to see the black bellied plover that was supposed to be there in the fields across Fernhill Road but didn't see it.

I don't own this lens but borrowed one for a couple of shooting sessions this week during two days of bird photography by boat at various locations. All I can say is WOW...It is tough to handhold from a boat but all these were shot from a boat handheld with either a 7D2 or a 5D4, both with and without the latest Canon 1.4TC. I think that this lens is a work of art. The photos I am most pleased with from the last few days are certainly as good or probably better than any wildlife photos I have ever taken. Over the top. I am now frantically trying to figure out a way that I can own one, it is just outstanding. I was managing pretty well by the second day wrangling with it on the boat-it did and will take some getting used to, and perhaps weight training! And there's always that tripod when on land.......
