I was just going through some of my images, and although I like this picture, I am not going to edit more until I know if I can get this hair or not, the worst part is by her eye, no matter what I seem to do I fail at removing it, if someone could help me and maybe email the file to me at April@AprilArchambeauPhotography.com (external link), it would be much appreciated, here is the link to download the image.

Just some careful cloning with the soft, low flow brush set to darken and sampled frequently building up slow. About 10 minutes or so. Need to spend a little more time but you get the ideal.

Very nice fix. Dennis did a great job...

Heres my take. Not quit 10 minutes, but shows that the result is repeatable..

I think the image is well worth the effort to fix. Very nice shot..

Here's my try.....

Cloned out the hairs
Cleaned up the color noise
Used the Healing brush to fix the bruise on the girl's right arm
Lowered the brightness of the background

Like so many things, it takes a lot of practice, there is no escape. Take a tough image and work it over (and over and over). Sure there are nice tools like the CS5 Content Aware stuff but even then you will need retouching tools and skills to fine-tune things...

Agree with this as well. That is why I try to jump on every opportunity such as this shot.
Free practice, and often times it helps the individual looking for it...:)
