I rarely post images here, but browse around quite a bit, enjoying others' works. I thought I might upload some of my own work for others to see. I am a portrait photographer, dealing mainly with child photography. My goal is always to try and capture the spirit of a child in a photograph - not necessarily to portray a child as what is commonly considered 'beautiful'. I therefore, abstain from almost all post-processing. Crops are largely in-camera, b&w conversions performed in LR. Excuse the dirty noses and scruffy faces - that's what children really look like.

Equipment used is various - Canon gear, mostly.

This slideshow is for the month of July, 2010. If you enjoy it and want to see more, just ask - I have similar collections for just about every month.

Please keep any comments 'photography-based', if you would.
If that annoying 'auto-show' thing comes up top right, just check it closed. Also, slideshow speed and background colour can be changed from 'options'.

First of all, your shots are very good. I scrolled through at least 3 dozen of them and enjoyed them all.

Secondly, I don't think you needed to preface your work with any sort of disclaimer.

Thirdly, you will probably get much more feedback if you post a few images here.

Finally, you should post more often. Your work may be a little different that most posted here, but that doesn't make it any less worth posting.

I only went through a couple dozen as well but I liked what I saw.

Post some pics here. People will love them.

Nice stuff.
