E28! I bought my camera in early 2000 when it debuted in Canada. And today, after shooting a ton of pictures the previous day, the e28 pops up and from what I'm reading on the net, the camera is now a paperweight?
One post I saw hinted E28 implied something was wrong with the shutter. It's truely a sad day though. This camera did take almost 11000 pictures in it's life, so I can't be too angry, but I'm certainly disappointed about a forced upgrade and the fact that I can't pass this camera on to someone else now and spread some Canon joy.
Anyone solve the E28 mystery?
