As a long time devoted 5D2 shooter I thought I'd give the 1Ds3 a try.
I like the ability to match the focus point to the metering system. Dead handy.
What I didn't like is the high Iso performance, not brilliant especially as I rarely see any Iso banding from the 5D but that's another thing.
My reason for posting is that I'm finding with the Raw files that I can push the files more than the 5D2's, whereas if in Lightroom I push the 5D's Raw file exposure I can only safely do it by 1 stop...with the 1Ds3's I can seem to push it 2 or maybe 3 stops.
Is there a reason for this because if there is then the lack of high Iso isn't that big a deal as I'll just push the images a stop in Lightroom.
