I'm looking for a large(r) bag or case that can carry all of the following:

Rebel XS body-gripped, with 28-135 lens attached
3 more lenses
1 flash
G9 camera
batteries/chargers/cables
possibly a small, folded travel tripod
Now it gets dicey...

I'm looking for a "one bag" solution, so it would need space for:
Laptop Computer
space for 1 change of clothes / overnight gear (toothbrush/deo/medicines)

I don't want to check it as luggage, so if it can fit all this in the overhead
or under-seat compartment on a plane it would be marvelous...

Looking for basically a carry-on for the gear, and some incidentals for a 1-2 day trip

Anyone aware of any manufacturers that make something along these lines?

Really appreciate your help

Bill

Or perhaps someone has "modded" some luggage to handle
the transport of photo gear?

If so, what did you use to support / compartmentalize the body and lenses?

thanks!

Pelican 1560 is a carryon that should be able to handle that stuff easily. Wheelie, see B&H. (external link). Multiple colors. Case is waterproof and literally bulletproof.

I use the pelican 1510 LOVE it best case i've owned. has wheels and tuck in handle. Meets carry on for the states, just have to watch your weight of contents.

Thanks!

I was initially thinking of a soft-sided case, Don't know if the criteria can
be met for a soft case or not.

The pelican can also double as gear storage when I'm not traveling,
so that would be an added bonus!

It is purely to transport the kit, or are you going to use it as a general walk about as well.

Maybe something like a TT Shape Shifter.

What I do is to take my Rotation 360 with me as a carryon on the plane, and put in it a book, an apple, etc. The Pelican comes along as a wheelie. When I get where I'm going, I put what I need in the Backpack and I'm off.

The Pelican saves me from having to carry 30 lbs of gear on my shoulders in the miles of walking through the airport.
